Written On: Monday, November 16, 2009

Former Washington Congressman and Pro-family leader  throws support to conservative, David Castillo

Former U.S. Rep. Randy Tate (R-Puyallup) was elected to Congress in the historic 1994 election cycle after serving for six years in the Washington House where he rose to the rank of Republican Caucus Chair at the age of just 26.

Following his time in Congress, Tate served as the Executive Director of the Christian Coalition where his work proved decisive in the passage of numerous pro-family bills in Congress.  Tate is now the founder and principal of Tate Strategies, Inc.

"I know Washington State and I know Washington D.C. and I can think of no better leader than David Castillo to represent 3rd District values in the nation’s capitol,” said Tate.

“David Castillo understands the value of faith and freedom and in this time of economic recession he knows that small business owners are the heart of American enterprise.  We need more men and women of his character and experience to serve in the halls of Congress,” noted Tate.

Former Congressman Tate joins a growing list of Washington State leaders that have endorsed Castillo in his run for Congress. (See below)

Castillo currently works as a financial advisor with Edward Jones.  He lives in Olympia with his wife Callie and their son Caidan. They attend Lifepointe Church in Lacey.
